Need help : srt on Ipad2

Postby Boubou » Tue Mar 29, 2011 2:18 pm

Hello, i'm new, and i'm french so please forgive me for my bad english

I just bought an Ipad2 and took the oplayerHD app.

And i can't see the subtitles on my movies !

they have exactly the same names as the mouvies (toto.avi & toto.srt), they're in the same folder, I tried the different "western Europe" encoders : never saw my subtitles.

CAN you help ???

Tanks a lot

Simply way is convert your file to UTF-8 and using the UTF-8 encoding method.

also make sure your subtitle stream index is -1 in the settings page.

Thank you so much !!! :D

It works, even though some letters don't appear correctly....

But how was I supposes to guess the good way ??
I'm just gonna try other encoding to see if I can have all the letters.
