Subtitles and kodi

Using kodi as my upnp server and oplayer sees it and plays videos great but no matter what i do i cant get subtitles to work. The cc toggle is always greyed out and so is the lightning symbol below it(not sure what that symbol is for). Any help? Thanks

only the upnp server provide us the subtitle file, then we can support it, some upnp server encoded the subtitle file path, so we can't get it.
