Built in Subtitles in .mkv not showing up

Postby massi4h » Thu Dec 16, 2010 12:39 pm

Hi there, first of all OPlayer is amazing I can watch all of my anime on it.

I've recently come across a problem though, everything I have that is in .mkv format, the subtitles don't show up when they play on my ipod touch. If I play them on my PC on something like VLC Media player they seem to show up perfectly fine. I even tried converting to MP4 with a program called "SUPER" and the subs showed up on PC but still not on my ipod touch. Is there any setting or something I can use to fix this?

From what I've heard, this has something to do with "soft subtitles" being put into the videos and there should be some way to switch it on or something.

Note: I'm not adding .srt subtitle files or anything like that, the subs are already built in the videos.

I have exactly the same problem of "soft subtitles" in mkv files.
