external subtitles doesn't work in airplayer

Hi
I got through this forum but didn't find any solution.

I have synology nas with dlna server. There are few avi files with corresponding subtitle files (srt).
It works perfectly on my samsung tv.
But doesn't work in airplayer on ipad2.
Both devices connected to the same local network.

The conclusion - dlna server supports subtitles, the issue is somewhere with airplayer.
Maybe it will help but when I tap "information" during movie playback I have no tracks for subtitles.

Can you help me?

I was looking for any settings in airplayer for subtitles - I found only 2 items for colors. Am I missing anything?

I forgot to add that it is Synology DSM 4.0 (there is no DMA compatibility option mentioned in "Synology DiskStation external subtitle support" topic above)
