Unable to send video to my Apple TV 3 from my NAS

Postby rickygm » Mon Jun 18, 2012 11:49 am

I have a NAS (D-Link DNS-320) and an Apple TV 3 (airplay enabled) connected via the same wifi network.
I can play video in my iPhone 4 from my NAS (not very fluid) but when i choose to send video to my ATV3 nothing happens.
My router is an Airport Extreme.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks.

if your device is iPad2/new iPad or iPhone4/4s, you can use airplay mirroring, not file format limit.
please refer to viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8976
if your device is other models, you can only airplay native media format to apple tv with quicktime plugin.

by the way, you need to update APPLE TV to 5.0 or above to support mirroring feature.

in the next update, we will support full screen mirroring feature.
