AirPlay mirroring is not a solution, because
a) I don't want to see the movies on both devices (iPad and TV)
b) I don't want to drain the iPad's battery
Any info?

Also agree that AirPlay mirroring is not a solution. Using something else that work for the moment, even though its interface is not as good.

As already reported, airPlay mirroring mode is absolutely not a solution:
- first because I don't want to see the movies on both devices (iPhone and TV).
- then because I don't want to drain the iPhone's battery.
- finally, because the video resolution is not good: the video can not get full screen.
So what is the solution?
DEVICES :
- iPhone 5
- apple TV 3
- synology ds212j
