Video doesn't fully load

If I use the default plugin, the whole movie will play, but if I use the Quick time plugin, the video only goes part way and stops. My files are all mp4, and the QuickTime has a sharper image. I increased the buffer to 10 mb, but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

Quicktime is from apple, so the bufferring feature is not for it.

Just wanted to update. Seems the problem was caused by IOS 6. After I updated to 6.01 videos play all the way through.
