files (photo, video, music) show up, but don't play > crash

Whenever I use airplayer on my iPhone 4 or iPad2 (both iOS6) I can browse to my movies (or music or photo's). But I've tried e few different formats(encodings they're called I believe) such as MPeg, AVI, TS. But none of them work. Each time is want to start a movie Airplater just shuts down on mt iDevice?

Same for Photo's and Music.

Us it in combination with a Synology DS209. Wifi connection (2G&5G). Latest DSM on the synology. DLNA is enabled. Firewall: even tried all open.
Any idea what goes wrong?

Have you tried with any other servers?
you can pick one from the app description page for your pc.
