sorry for possibly double posting but searching from this forum is really difficult- dvb, subtitles, .ts-files, digital television,... no luck,

I bought Airplayer yesterday for my iPad2. If I have afile without DVB-subtitlin Airplayer works greatly, Thank!

I tried to play some Finnish digital televsion recording, .TS-file with subtitilin in it. In the subtitles list I have Finnish listed twice, but neither produces subtitling on the screen. Is this a known bug? I had transcoding set at default and tried with FFMPEG too, no luck.
I used Twonky on my Qnap as media server. Tried from my Pogoplug Classic too. I do not know what is the name of the server on Pogoplug

1. if the subtitle is text subtitle, maybe you need to select correctly encoding method in the playing window
2. if the subtitle is external subtitle, need server to provide it as a text item, not all media servers supports external subtitle

1 - is this same as the transcoding i mentioned in my post?

subtitiling in DVB-T and DVB-C is aseparate stream, Standard stuff. And Airplayer sees these subtitle streams as it lists them. Playback does not work
