Serviio and Airplayer

Postby jpires » Fri Jul 19, 2013 12:47 am

Hi

I have installed airplayer on my iPad mini and I would like to access my serviio server at home.
I have read the info here http://www.edavs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2&sid=1304caa374244c1d1f7ba1871fa9fa4b
and I have been using dyndns with no problems to access my home server with no problems with other apps.
port 8895 has been forwarded in the router.
AirPlayer connects ok through my LAN to serviio

Regarding AirPlayer I am using this address to access my serviio server and I am getting Uknown media server and, obviously, no connection at all.

Any help will be very much appreciated

Jose

hide your server information for security issue
can you get a xml file if you input that url in your safari?
check this to see whether you have port mapping correctly.
