Does AirPlayer work with iPhone video out cable?

I have a bunch of .avi videos and I'm wondering if I buy AirPlayer, can it play them through the video out cable on my iPhone 4?

yep, but the video will be choppy. only iPad can tv out XVID smoothly.

I second this request. I purchased this app to stream iPhone 4 video from my DLNA server to a TV through a VGA cable. It is horrendously choppy on the TV ... but will play smoothly on the iPhone 4. Is this a technical issue with the iPhone horsepower? Or a software issue with AirPlayer. Thanks!

We haven't found a way to fix the choppy issue, but we are trying to fix it.

Hello,

I just purchased the Airplayer App. Befasse in the Description there was Support for tv Out mentioned. But in Reality this is Not working, i tested many Suggestionen from this Forum but no settings will work. The only Result i got is a Black Screen in the Tv and Sound for about 30 seconds then the App. Crashes.

I tried the all in iPhone 4s and iPad 3. Unsinnig an ab cable purchased by Apple directly. Otter Apps like the 8player and Apple Apps are fully Funktional with this cable and tv ( Samsung ).

Hope you have any idea how to fix this or a Solution how to geht my Money back...

Have you enable tv out in the settings page of AirPlayer
Currently version only have performance issue, and next update will fix this issue, we will submit new version this week, and need extra week for apple to review it.
