Video issues, audio out of sync and shocky video

Postby Montalbano » Mon Jan 31, 2011 3:17 pm

Hi,

I bought this app for one reason: to stream the videos on my NAS (DS211j) to my iPad. The other functions (music and photo) are nice but shall not be used a lot.

Airplayer recognizes and succesfully connects to my NAS. I can browse all the files and start video playback. But not a single one of my videos plays with viewable result. Audio is way out of sync and the video is shocky.
Most of my videos are in MP4 h264, converted by Handbrake using the ipad profile.
When putting them on the ipad using iTunes, they play well.

What should I do to make my videos playable from my NAS? Lower resolution/profile?

Tried another app (I will leave the name out) and found that that app does stream my videos flawless. I like your interface better though, so hopefully you can deliver the same.

For MP4s, just turn on quicktime plugin in the settings page.
