Adding Windows Media Connect manually

Postby alison » Fri Jul 29, 2011 8:34 am

Well after failing to connect my Buffalo LInkstation LS-CHLv2 manually (it works fine over my home network) I did some detective work and found out that the media server on the drive is Windows Media Connect. Does anyone know what the device XML is likely to be for that though, as I don't understand most of the stuff I've been reading!!!

If your media server has UPnP and DLNA, it should auto be detected by AirPlayer when they connect to the same network, manually is for over the internet/3G
