Problems browsing READYNAS Duo

Postby glennww » Mon Aug 15, 2011 5:33 am

I can connect to my NAS OK and files I can find access and play OK on my iphone 4.

However
Problem 1: Folder Structures Displayed
Athe folders bear absolutely no resemblance to what is actually on the NAS. I have for example my music folders arranged A - Z then Artist then Album etc.
At root level on the NAS I have music, video, pictures folders only
In Airplayer if I browse folders there are a load of folders that are not in the above list
When I then browse folders to music I have a load of (null) named folders and a whole load of album folders.
Nothing appears to be in the actual structure that it is on the NAS

Problem 2: Search
Whatever I search for I get no results

Problem 3: App Exist when retriveing large number of directories
e.g. all music

The above are making the app practically unusable. Can someone advise and if not possible to correct refund what I spent on the app?

1) That is not client issue, as we just show what the server provided.
2) That is also based on whether the server implemented the search function
3) Some special characters will cause AirPlayer crash, we are trying to fix it, if you can provide the file name list under the crash folder, that will be helpful to us.

I have exactly the same problems with my ReadyNas. The folder structure in Airplayer bears no resemblence to what's on my Nas. Why can't Airplayer just display the folder structure that I have set up.

This issue is a real problem.

That is a server issue, we just shows the folder struct as server provided.
