Airplayer Cannot Detect WDTV Live Media Player

I recently purchase airplayer for my ipad2 but cannot detect WDTV Live Player.

Can anyone help

Does it has build-in UPnP or DLNA?
Make sure you have enabled UPnP/DLNA function in your server sider
and make sure your media server and airplayer connects to the same network.

It has both UPnP and DLNA.

Both are on same router/network

Is "WDTV Live Media Player" only a UPNP/DLNA client
instead of a UPNP/DLNA server ?

I can stream media ok off WDTVLive with my pc so I would assume I should be able to do the same with ipad2/air player.

Can you post us the spec to us to see whether it supports DLNA/UPnP?

So seems WD TV Live Hub media center is a UPnP server, while WDTV Live media player is a UPnP client.
That's why AirPlayer can't connect WDTV Live Media Player, as AirPlayer is also a UPnP client.
