Unable to connect to synology over 3G

Postby badbonez » Fri Feb 25, 2011 3:17 am

I have a Synology Disk Station 209j and I can access it over WiFi using AirPlayer. But when I try on 3G it will not connect (although I can access my Popcorn Hour over 3G). The address that the program uses while in WiFi mode is HTTP://192.168.0.104:50001/desc/device.xml.

When i am in 3G mode I make the address HTTP://myipaddress:50001/desc/device.xml. I have opened port 50001 and forwarded it to the internal IP address of the disk station. But when I click on the icon for that server, nothing happens.

Also, shouldn't I be able to view pictures with AirPlayer?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
