Multicast means UPNP - there should be an option in your router to enable UPNP.

I believe when the admin is talking about route's he may be referring to your router. Because I've seen a block multicast button on my router before, all you have to do is go to you router's UI (user interface) by typing 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 depending on your routers manufacturer and look around until you see a radio button or a check box and enable/untenable it according to what the admins instructions were.... Sounds like it will be a good guide...too bad i cant help cause i dont know a thing about map making...wait a minute..i can ask loads of nooby map making questions for a faq to go with the tut:-P
