HD H264 performance improvement

This app would be perfect if it could play back 720p / 1080p h264 content smoothly on A4 class hardware (ipad, iphone4). Is this possible at all using hardware acceleration?

Apple haven't opened the interface to third part developers.

Hey there, is there really no chance to improve | HD 1280x720p | MKV (H264) | playback. It's running in very slow motion only! Would make a perfect app!

Next version when you enable the skip frame you can play 720P MKV

Yes. And what we got is a movie that give you an headache for the continuos skip of frames.
You have to do something for playing smoothly at least at 720p.
Maybe a petition to Apple for hardware acceleration specs?
